Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Shift Supervisor (Waiter – SS) to join our vibrant hospitality team. This full‑time position is based at our flagship restaurant, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. The ideal candidate will combine solid front‑of‑house service skills with the ability to lead a small team during peak service periods, ensuring smooth operations from opening to closing.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily floor operations, coordinating a team of waitstaff to maintain high service standards.
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate orders, communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery to tables.
- Monitor table turnover, manage seating arrangements, and handle reservation inquiries to maximize seating efficiency.
- Train new waitstaff on service protocols, POS system usage, and proper food handling procedures.
- Conduct regular quality checks, addressing any service gaps or guest concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Prepare shift reports, track sales figures, and assist the restaurant manager with inventory control.
- Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and ensure accurate cash reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Foster a positive work atmosphere by encouraging teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance, and providing constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (preference as per client specification).
- Age: Maximum 25 years old.
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
- Availability: Must be able to work full‑time, Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and not currently enrolled in any academic program.
- Marital Status: Unmarried, as required by the hiring policy.
- Key Skills: Strong communication abilities, excellent customer service orientation, ability to multitask under pressure, and basic proficiency with POS systems.
- Personal Traits: Punctual, reliable, team‑oriented, and possess a professional appearance and demeanor.
