Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a professional demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, promptly input them into the POS system, and communicate any special requests to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to portion standards.
- Monitor tables throughout the meal, refill beverages, clear plates, and respond to guest inquiries or concerns with courtesy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including setting and resetting tables, polishing silverware, and keeping service stations stocked.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Adhere to all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of allergens and special dietary needs.
- Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and thank guests for their patronage.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings, menu tastings, and ongoing training sessions to stay informed about new items and service standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, such as inventory checks, cash reconciliation, and preparing the dining area for the next service.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 23 years.
- Gender: Open to both male and female candidates (the original posting preferred male, but we welcome all qualified applicants).
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates and first‑time workers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, service‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple tables simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during busy periods.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays, and carry up to 20 kg.
- Proficiency in Indonesian; additional language skills (e.g., English) are a plus.
