Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Kasir Penjualan Retail – Pelayanan Pelanggan to join our fast‑growing retail team. This role is the front‑line face of our store, handling cash transactions, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience. Our store operates six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00. Whether you are just starting your career or looking to deepen your experience in retail sales, this position offers a solid foundation in customer service and point‑of‑sale (POS) operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate the POS system efficiently, process cash, credit, and digital payments, and ensure accurate transaction recording.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related inquiries, and provide recommendations that match their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular cash drawer reconciliation and reporting of discrepancies.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies while maintaining a courteous demeanor.
- Collaborate with sales floor staff to restock merchandise, manage inventory levels, and ensure product availability at the point of sale.
- Monitor and resolve any technical issues with the cash register or scanning equipment, escalating to management when necessary.
- Participate in daily opening and closing procedures, including cash count, receipt generation, and secure storage of funds.
- Assist in promotional activities, such as upselling loyalty programs, special discounts, and seasonal campaigns.
- Provide feedback to management regarding common customer concerns, suggesting process improvements to enhance overall service quality.
- Uphold store security protocols, including vigilance against shoplifting and reporting suspicious activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA / SMK / setara.

- High initiative and self‑motivation, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Disciplined, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with cash register or POS systems.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Customer‑service mindset with patience and empathy when dealing with diverse shoppers.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 15 kg.
