Introduction
StudioRenang.com, a leading provider of therapeutic and recreational swimming programs in Indonesia, is expanding its Wish & Snap initiative in Tangerang. We are looking for a dedicated Pelatih Renang (Swimming Instructor) to join our team and deliver high‑quality water‑based programs for seniors, children with special needs, and infants. This role combines coaching, therapeutic support, and facility maintenance to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age‑appropriate swimming lessons for children with special needs, senior citizens, and babies, following the Wish & Snap curriculum.
- Continuously assess and document each participant’s skill progression, updating attendance and skill logs in the studio’s management software.
- Prepare detailed progress reports for parents or guardians, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and recommended next steps.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the pool area, including routine checks of filtration systems, water quality, and teaching equipment.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and coordinate with technical staff for any major repairs or servicing.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors, physiotherapists, and psychologists to tailor sessions for individual therapeutic needs.
- Participate actively in weekly staff meetings and contribute ideas for program enhancements.
- Complete a mandatory one‑month training program in West Jakarta before commencing independent duties.
- Uphold StudioRenang.com’s safety standards, emergency protocols, and client confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Psychology, Special Education, Physical Education, or related fields (preferred).
- Age: 27 years or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of experience teaching swimming or conducting water‑based therapeutic sessions.
- Basic swimming proficiency and ability to demonstrate proper techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact respectfully with children, seniors, and their families.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for inclusive sports, with a genuine interest in supporting individuals with special needs.
- Excellent work ethic, quick learning ability, and adaptability to changing program demands.
- Conflict‑management and classroom‑management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
