Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Pelayanan Food and Beverage to join our dynamic hospitality team. The role is based at our flagship venue, operating six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) with flexible shift patterns that allow you to develop a balanced work‑life routine while gaining valuable industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and providing detailed explanations of food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders, communicate special dietary requirements to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery of meals and drinks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked service area, including table settings, bar stations, and service equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of simple beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty cocktails, following standard recipes.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the service, responding swiftly to any concerns or requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate smooth service flow during peak periods.
- Handle cash, process payments, and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift with accuracy.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Participate in regular training sessions, team meetings, and briefings to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service standards.
- Support inventory control by reporting low stock levels and assisting with periodic stock takes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a restaurant, café, or hotel setting.
- Educational background of at least D3/D4 (associate or diploma level) in hospitality, tourism, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Professional, well‑groomed appearance and a positive, service‑oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as operational demands require.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage management principles, including menu knowledge, portion control, and upselling techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also handling independent tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language skills (e.g., English) are an advantage.
