Introduction
SPX Express is expanding its regional network in South Kalimantan and is looking for a dynamic Hub Lead to oversee operations at the Sungai Raya hub, located in Hulu Sungai Selatan. This pivotal role ensures that every parcel moves smoothly from pickup to final delivery, reinforcing SPX Express’s reputation for reliability and speed in the highly competitive last‑mile logistics market. The successful candidate will lead a cross‑functional team, coordinate with warehouse, line haul, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners, and drive continuous improvement across inbound and outbound processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and guarantee on‑time delivery of shipments, from initial collection to customer receipt, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinate daily activities with the Warehouse team, Line Haul drivers, and 3PL providers to align schedules, capacity, and routing.
- Implement risk‑reduction strategies to minimize lost or damaged packages, including real‑time tracking and incident reporting.
- Oversee all hub transactions, ensuring accurate documentation, data integrity, and compliance with SOPs.
- Supervise inbound receiving and outbound dispatch operations, optimizing dock utilization and load planning.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate hub staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery rate, cost per shipment, and warehouse throughput, and propose actionable improvements.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other analytics tools to generate reports, forecast volume trends, and support strategic decision‑making.
- Maintain strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout hub operations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Hands‑on experience with both Last Mile and First Mile logistics processes.
- Proven knowledge of planning, shipping, and warehousing workflows, including FIFO methods.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong leadership and team‑building skills, with the ability to motivate staff and manage performance.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
- Flexibility to reside in or relocate to Sungai Raya, Hulu Sungai Selatan, Kalimantan Selatan.
- Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 09:30 – 18:30.
