Introduction
The Retail Store Operations Manager (Senior) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the overall performance and profitability of our retail locations. This senior‑level position oversees daily store activities, ensures exceptional customer experiences, and leads a diverse team of associates through effective planning, coaching, and operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and execute weekly and monthly sales targets, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average transaction value, conversion rates, and stock turnover.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of supervisors, sales associates, and support staff, fostering a collaborative culture that encourages continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Implement and monitor visual merchandising standards to maximize product visibility and enhance the shopping environment.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, loss prevention initiatives, and periodic cycle counts, utilizing the System Accurate software or equivalent retail management systems.
- Schedule and manage shift rotations, ensuring optimal staffing levels during peak hours while respecting labor laws and employee work‑life balance.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to roll out promotional campaigns, new product launches, and seasonal floor plans.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and drive strategic improvements.
- Maintain accurate financial records, prepare operational reports for senior leadership, and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve complex issues promptly to preserve brand reputation.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Business, Retail Management, or any related field.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in retail operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong leadership and team‑management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff across multiple shifts.
- Proficiency in computer operations; experience with retail management software such as System Accurate is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a shift schedule, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
