Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of specialty coffee drinks—including espresso, latte, cappuccino, pour‑over, and cold brew—following Bacoot’s standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and workstations throughout the shift, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee‑related equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods, enhancing the overall coffee education experience.
- Handle cash transactions, process orders through the point‑of‑sale system, and ensure accurate billing and receipt generation.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and consumables; report shortages to the shift supervisor and assist with stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Participate in regular training sessions, taste‑testing events, and product knowledge workshops to stay current with industry trends and new menu items.
- Uphold Bacoot’s brand standards in presentation, customer interaction, and overall service etiquette.
- Assist in occasional promotional activities, such as coffee‑tasting events, community outreach programs, and loyalty‑member engagements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 18–35 years.
- Gender: Female (as specified by the client’s hiring policy).
- No prior barista experience required; a strong willingness to learn and grow is essential.
- Honesty, discipline, and a proactive attitude toward personal and professional development.
- Must not be currently enrolled in college or employed elsewhere; full‑time availability is required.
- Basic communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 kg, and handle repetitive motions associated with coffee preparation.
