Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily housekeeping schedules, ensuring rooms and public areas are cleaned, inspected, and prepared for guest arrival.
- Maintain accurate logs of room status, inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
- Assist housekeeping supervisors in monitoring compliance with hygiene and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, providing courteous resolutions and escalating issues when necessary.
- Support the training of new housekeeping staff on standard operating procedures and proper use of cleaning agents.
- Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and facilities to verify cleanliness and report any maintenance needs.
- Manage shift handovers, ensuring seamless communication between day and night teams.
- Collaborate with front‑desk and maintenance departments to coordinate room turnovers and special guest requests.
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is stored safely and maintained according to company guidelines.
- Uphold a professional, well‑groomed appearance and represent the brand positively at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a housekeeping or related hospitality role.
- Relevant hospitality background preferred, with a solid understanding of hotel operations.
- Minimum educational qualification: D3/D4 (associate degree) or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Guest‑oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
