Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Support Specialist for Information Technology Solutions to join our dynamic field service team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting air circulation systems at various project sites, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform on‑site installation of air circulation and ventilation equipment, following technical drawings and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning, filter replacement, and system calibration, to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, wiring issues, and mechanical malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Execute welding tasks required for mounting brackets, ductwork, and support structures, adhering to safety standards.
- Work at heights safely, employing ladders, scaffolding, or lift equipment as needed.
- Document all service activities, parts used, and test results in the company’s service management system.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to coordinate schedules and resolve complex problems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff or apprentices when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotations and be prepared for overtime during peak project phases.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical vocational training in electrical or mechanical disciplines is preferred.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar technical support or field service role, preferably within HVAC, ventilation, or IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and circuit protection devices.
- Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, or arc welding) with a valid welding certification considered a plus.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
- Active driving licenses: SIM A (motorcycle) and SIM C (car).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow instructions and report findings clearly.
- Willingness to work overtime and on Saturdays as required by project timelines.
- Physical fitness to handle manual labor, lift equipment up to 25 kg, and stand for extended periods.
