Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages according to Srono’s recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and flavor excellence.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee‑making equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, adhering to food safety regulations and internal hygiene protocols.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and offer recommendations based on seasonal menus and customer preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, process electronic payments, and maintain an accurate register at the end of each shift.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages to the shift supervisor and assist with restocking.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours, including taking on additional tasks such as food preparation or cleaning as needed.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new beverage trends, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Uphold Srono’s brand values by being disciplined, honest, friendly, and responsible in every interaction with customers and colleagues.
- Contribute ideas for menu enhancements, promotional events, and ways to increase sales through upselling and personalized service.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Open to candidates of all ages; no maximum age limit.
- Gender: Open to all genders; however, the current posting emphasizes a preference for female candidates.
- Prior experience: None required; we welcome candidates with a genuine passion for coffee and a willingness to learn.
- Essential personal attributes: disciplined, honest, friendly, responsible, and a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Ability to work both part‑time and full‑time schedules, including weekdays and Saturdays.
- Work hours: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00 with scheduled breaks and designated days off.
- Skill set: Basic barista skills or a willingness to acquire them, including knowledge of coffee grinding, tamping, steaming milk, and latte art fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
