Introduction

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Operations Manager to join our dynamic warehouse team in Tangerang. This full‑time position works Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional flexible hours to support peak e‑commerce demand. As the right‑hand to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that inbound, outbound, order processing, and packing activities run smoothly, adhering to strict SOPs and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, shipping, and special orders (SO).
  • Monitor and control the flow of goods in and out of the facility, guaranteeing compliance with operational standards and minimizing handling errors.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and timely data entry into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, purchase order processing, and documentation verification to ensure data integrity.
  • Support workforce management by motivating staff, scheduling shifts, and conducting on‑the‑job coaching to improve productivity and safety.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams—logistics, customer service, procurement, and delivery partners—to resolve bottlenecks and fulfill operational needs.
  • Generate and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rate, pick‑to‑ship time, and inventory turnover, recommending process improvements.
  • Implement lean warehousing practices, including 5S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian customs regulations, import/export documentation, and local delivery platform requirements.
  • Act as a liaison for external vendors and carriers, negotiating service levels and monitoring performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (minimum S1).
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in e‑commerce warehouse operations, preferably within a fast‑growing logistics environment.
  • Fluency in Mandarin (both spoken and written) to support communication with regional partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse software such as Bigseller, WMS, or ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure in a high‑volume setting.
  • Willingness to be based in Tangerang and adapt to flexible scheduling when required.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian customs regulations, local delivery platforms, and lean warehousing methodologies.
  • Male candidates are preferred as per the current operational policy.
