As a freelance crew member, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, driving product awareness, and supporting the overall success of the exhibition until the contract end date of 31 March 2026.
Responsibilities
- Greet every visitor with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Provide accurate information about new product launches, ongoing promotions, and special offers, tailoring recommendations to individual customer needs.
- Assist shoppers in locating items, answering product‑related questions, and guiding them through the store layout.
- Maintain an orderly and attractive sales floor by organizing merchandise, setting up eye‑catching displays, and ensuring the store remains clean and tidy at all times.
- Conduct regular stock checks, identify low‑inventory items, and prepare concise reports for the inventory management team.
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets, actively upselling and cross‑selling to maximize revenue.
- Utilize basic computer skills to log sales transactions, update inventory data, and communicate with supervisors via electronic devices.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members and event staff to coordinate promotional activities, product demonstrations, and special events throughout the exhibition.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and emerging trends to help refine future marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with a diverse audience.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and take ownership of revenue growth.
- Familiarity with stock‑taking (stock opname) processes and basic inventory management.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and electronic reporting tools.
- Open to working flexible hours, Tuesday through Sunday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
