Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Mekanik Lampu – Spesialis Perawatan dan Perbaikan to join our growing team. This role is focused on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of lighting systems used in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The successful candidate will work closely with senior technicians, learn cutting‑edge practices, and help ensure that all lighting installations operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on a variety of lighting fixtures, including LED, fluorescent, and halogen systems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, replace defective components, and verify proper functionality after repair.
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals to execute accurate repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers and electricians to plan service schedules that minimize downtime for clients.
- Maintain detailed service logs, parts inventory, and documentation required for compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist senior technicians in complex troubleshooting, learning advanced techniques such as driver recalibration and smart‑lighting integration.
- Adhere to all occupational health and safety standards, using personal protective equipment and safe work practices at all times.
- Provide on‑site training and guidance to junior staff or apprentices when needed.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements, cost‑saving measures, and innovative lighting solutions.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls, especially for critical infrastructure lighting.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders; however, the position specifies “Pria max. 25th” (male candidates up to 25 years old) as a preferred demographic.
- Age: Up to 25 years old.
- Honest, responsible, and eager to learn.
- Strong teamwork orientation while also capable of working independently.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and wiring.
- Willingness to receive hands‑on training if lacking prior experience.
- Preferred residence in Tempe or surrounding areas for easier commute.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Physical ability to lift equipment up to 25 kg and work at heights when required.
