Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Professional Assistant Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at a thriving restaurant known for its innovative cuisine and exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities

  • Assist the head chef in daily food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and plating dishes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with local health regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and properly store ingredients to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Support menu development by testing new recipes, suggesting ingredient alternatives, and providing feedback on taste and presentation.
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely delivery of orders during peak hours and smooth operation of shift changes.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and safety‑focused work environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of special event menus, banquet services, and catering orders as required.
  • Document daily production reports, record any equipment issues, and communicate needs to management promptly.

Requirements

  • Gender: Female (per company policy).
  • Maximum age: 45 years.
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a degree or certification in Culinary Arts (Tata Boga) is highly preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in a professional kitchen or food service environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in operating standard kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers.
  • Personal Traits: Hardworking, disciplined, responsible, honest, and professional in all interactions.
  • Soft Skills: Strong teamwork orientation, effective communication, ability to work under pressure, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Availability: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, with a schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
