As a Kurir Pengiriman, you will be the frontline ambassador of our brand, ensuring that parcels move swiftly from our central depot to the hands of customers. Responsibilities
- Collect parcels and packages from the central depot and deliver them to the designated addresses according to the daily dispatch list.
- Plan and adjust delivery routes each day to maximize fuel efficiency, reduce travel time, and meet promised delivery windows.
- Verify each address prior to delivery, confirming that the recipient’s details match the shipment documentation.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage or loss during transit, applying appropriate safety and handling procedures.
- Obtain customer signatures or electronic confirmations as proof of delivery, and record any exceptions such as refusals or address issues.
- Collect cash‑on‑delivery (COD) payments when required, ensuring accurate cash handling and immediate reporting to the finance team.
- Maintain clear communication with the dispatch office, receiving new delivery instructions, reporting delays, and updating the status of each parcel in real‑time via our mobile app.
- Keep accurate paper or digital logs of all deliveries, returns, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering basic inquiries, offering delivery time estimates, and representing J&T’s brand values.
- Participate in regular briefings and training sessions to stay updated on safety protocols, new technology tools, and company policies.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, aged 18‑40 years.
- At least a high school diploma; all education levels are accepted.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable motorbike or scooter.
- Deep knowledge of the Blitar area and surrounding neighborhoods (knowledge of local streets is a strong advantage).
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Basic communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to interact politely with customers.
- Physical stamina to load and unload parcels, often in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to use a smartphone for GPS navigation and to update delivery status in J&T’s proprietary system.
