We are seeking a motivated Sales Advisor – Professional Building Materials to join our dynamic showroom team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, guiding customers through a wide range of construction and renovation products, from cement and steel to finishing materials. Responsibilities

  • Welcome and accompany every customer who visits the showroom, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Present and demonstrate product features, benefits, and applications, tailoring recommendations to the specific needs of contractors, DIY enthusiasts, and interior designers.
  • Achieve sales targets by actively promoting current promotions, upselling complementary items, and closing deals efficiently.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the company’s product catalogue, technical specifications, and service offerings.
  • Provide clear, consultative advice on product selection, installation guidelines, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients while prospecting new customers through phone calls, emails, and showroom events.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, turning potential issues into opportunities for loyalty.
  • Collect market intelligence, report competitor activity, and suggest improvements to the sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and inventory teams to ensure product availability and accurate order processing.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and product workshops to stay ahead of industry trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in the construction, hardware, or building‑materials industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze target markets and identify sales opportunities.
  • Customer‑focused attitude with a knack for problem‑solving and handling objections.
  • Basic numeracy for quoting prices, calculating discounts, and managing sales paperwork.
  • Proficiency with standard office software; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Open to working full‑time hours from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility for occasional showroom events.
