Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Operator Komunikasi dan Penyiaran to join our hospitality team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication between guests, staff, and external partners while delivering high‑quality broadcast content across our property’s channels. The ideal candidate will combine technical aptitude with a guest‑oriented mindset, thriving in a fast‑paced environment that operates Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain audio‑visual and broadcasting equipment for guest announcements, event livestreams, and internal communications.
- Coordinate with front‑desk, housekeeping, and food‑beverage teams to relay timely information and respond to guest requests.
- Prepare daily broadcast schedules, ensuring all content complies with brand standards and local regulations.
- Monitor communication channels (PA systems, digital signage, social media) for accuracy and relevance.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints via phone, radio, or in‑person, providing prompt and courteous resolutions.
- Document equipment checks, maintenance logs, and incident reports in accordance with operational procedures.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events, conferences, and promotional campaigns that require live broadcasting support.
- Collaborate with the IT and facilities teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement upgrades.
- Maintain a professional, well‑groomed appearance at all times, representing the brand’s standards.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays, ensuring continuous coverage of communication services.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Communications, Hospitality, Media Studies, or related fields.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in a similar communication or broadcasting role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong command of English – both spoken and written – to interact with international guests and produce clear announcements.
- Demonstrated guest‑oriented service mindset with the ability to handle complaints and turn challenges into positive experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Professional, disciplined appearance and demeanor.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.
- Basic cooking skills (Keterampilan Memasak) are a plus, reflecting the versatile nature of our hospitality operations.
