Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager Operational to lead our depot operations in a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. The role is pivotal for ensuring seamless integration of sales, distribution, and warehousing activities, driving revenue growth, and maintaining the highest standards of service to our customers and partners. The successful candidate will be a results‑oriented leader with a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end‑to‑end depot operations, including sales order processing, product distribution, and warehouse management.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring optimal product availability across all channels.
  • Lead, coach, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team comprising sales representatives, administrative staff, warehouse operators, and drivers to maintain high performance and morale.
  • Maintain rigorous inventory controls, monitor stock levels, and implement cycle‑count procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
  • Coordinate timely and cost‑effective delivery schedules, working closely with logistics partners to meet customer delivery windows.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive operational reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, variances, and actionable insights.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support business growth and resolve issues promptly.
  • Enforce compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and company policies, promoting a culture of discipline and continuous improvement.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and lead cross‑functional projects to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that keep the depot competitive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Business, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; a degree in Management/Business is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in distribution, FMCG, or a comparable fast‑paced logistics setting.
  • Proven track record of managing sales and warehouse teams, with at least 3 years of direct leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding of distribution networks, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a solution‑focused mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Willingness to be stationed at the company’s designated operational area and work the regular schedule of Friday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
