Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate entry of sales, discounts, and refunds.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments, perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, and report any discrepancies.
- Provide courteous, knowledgeable service to customers, answering product inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area, including regular restocking of bags, receipts, and promotional materials.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register, flag low‑stock items, and assist the stockroom team with replenishment.
- Support promotional campaigns by upselling featured items and processing special pricing correctly.
- Collaborate with fellow team members across shifts to ensure smooth handovers and consistent service quality.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, especially when handling food‑related transactions.
- Utilize basic mathematical skills to verify totals, calculate change, and detect potential fraud.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new POS features, customer service techniques, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK; D3/D4 preferred for advancement opportunities.
- Age: 18‑30 years old; male candidates are required for this position.
- Honesty, meticulousness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proven ability to perform accurate calculations quickly and reliably.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday).
- Neat appearance and excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience as a cashier in F&B or retail environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with POS software and basic computer literacy.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C); a personal vehicle is an advantage.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle occasional heavy lifting.
- Disciplined work ethic, punctuality, and a collaborative team mindset.
