Responsibilities
- Process all cash, credit, and electronic transactions swiftly and accurately using our point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Verify the authenticity of bills and coins, and handle refunds, exchanges, and voids according to company policy.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area, ensuring that merchandise, promotional materials, and impulse‑buy items are well‑stocked.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related questions, and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly, escalating to a supervisor when necessary while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, preparing detailed reports for accounting.
- Collaborate with floor staff to manage peak‑hour traffic, including during holiday periods such as Imlek and Lebaran.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols, including proper handling of cash and personal data.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new POS features, promotional offers, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years with a valid Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP).
- Completed secondary education (SMA/SMK or equivalent).
- Active bank account for payroll and administrative purposes.
- Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and during special festive periods as scheduled.
- Good physical health and mental resilience to handle fast‑paced environments.
- Basic proficiency with cash register systems and a willingness to learn our proprietary cashier software.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and a trustworthy attitude toward handling cash and confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently when required.
