Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pengemudi Kendaraan Operasional to join our growing logistics team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods across our service area, supporting the supply chain of numerous clients ranging from retail distributors to manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong driving skills, a deep familiarity with local routes, and a commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate company‑owned vehicles (cars, vans, or light trucks) to transport goods, equipment, and documents according to scheduled routes.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking oil, tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel receipts in the company’s transportation management system.
- Load and unload cargo safely, securing items to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to confirm delivery windows, address special instructions, and resolve any on‑the‑road issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Assist in route planning by providing feedback on traffic patterns, road conditions, and optimal delivery sequences.
- Participate in regular safety briefings, driver training sessions, and emergency drills.
- Represent the company in a professional manner, maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor with clients and the public.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a professional driver in a similar operational environment.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM A) with a clean record.
- Strong knowledge of local delivery routes, traffic patterns, and area landmarks.
- Excellent punctuality, discipline, and a sense of responsibility.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with dispatch, clients, and team members.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report technical problems.
- Physical stamina to load/unload goods and spend long periods driving.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime for urgent deliveries.
