Introduction
PT. Prima Kitchen Solutions is seeking a skilled Teknisi Pemeliharaan to join our operations team in the Ketapang area. This role is critical to ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of restaurant equipment, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, and civil infrastructure across our nationwide network of dining establishments. The successful candidate will work on a rotating shift schedule, performing both preventive maintenance and urgent repairs to keep kitchens running at peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all restaurant kitchen equipment, including noodle machines, fryers, stoves, cup sealers, boilers, griddles, and cold storage units.
- Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues that affect daily restaurant operations, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Replace faulty components, perform calibrations, and verify that repaired equipment meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed daily work reports that document tasks completed, problems encountered, corrective actions taken, and any parts used.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment in compliance with the company’s occupational health and safety policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, store managers, and the central maintenance hub to prioritize tasks and schedule service windows that limit disruption to guests.
- Support the rollout of new equipment installations and upgrades, providing on‑site testing and training for end‑users.
- Travel as needed to other locations throughout Indonesia, adapting quickly to different site conditions and cultural settings.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting upgrades, spare‑part inventory optimizations, and process refinements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent, preferably with a technical focus in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- At least 2–4 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment.
- Proficient in MEP systems, with solid knowledge of equipment such as boilers, griddles, fryers, refrigeration units, and related control panels.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (including weekends) and to be deployed anywhere in Indonesia, with a specific readiness for assignments in Ketapang.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities, mechanical aptitude, and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: honest, disciplined, responsible, loyal, creative, hardworking, active, innovative, and highly dedicated.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces typical of kitchen environments.
- Basic computer literacy for logging maintenance activities and accessing technical manuals.
