Introduction
We are a leading hospitality group seeking a dedicated Petugas Operasional Laundry Hotel to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and guest garments are cleaned to the highest standards, contributing directly to the overall guest experience and operational efficiency of our hotel properties.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironers, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press a wide variety of fabrics such as bed sheets, towels, staff uniforms, and guest clothing while adhering to color‑coding and fabric‑care instructions.
- Conduct regular inspections of linens and garments for stains, damages, or wear, and report any issues to the Laundry Supervisor.
- Maintain meticulous inventory records of linen stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and proper storage to avoid shortages.
- Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chemical handling, waste disposal, and equipment sanitation to meet health and safety regulations.
- Provide prompt and courteous assistance to hotel staff and guests who bring in special laundry requests or complaints, resolving issues with professionalism.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, front‑desk, and maintenance teams to coordinate laundry pickup and delivery schedules, ensuring seamless service flow.
- Monitor and report daily production metrics, such as the number of loads processed, cycle times, and energy consumption, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing routine cleaning of work areas and equipment.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new laundry technologies, eco‑friendly cleaning agents, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Female candidates only; age not exceeding 35 years.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in hotel or commercial laundry operations.
- Demonstrated honesty, friendliness, and strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail, neat appearance, and disciplined work habits.
- Ability to work hard, take responsibility, and adapt quickly to changing workloads.
- Core skills: Adaptability, proper use of cleaning tools, compliance with regulations, complaint handling, conflict resolution, customer service, garment washing, and room cleanliness standards.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, from 07:00 AM to 09:00 PM.
- Physical stamina to lift and move laundry loads and stand for extended periods.
