Introduction

BNI Life is seeking a dynamic Bancassurance Specialist (BAS) to join our team in the North Jakarta region. This role serves as the key liaison between BNI Bank branches and BNI Life’s insurance products, focusing on the promotion and sale of individual life insurance solutions. The successful candidate will be a motivated self‑starter with a passion for sales, strong communication abilities, and a professional appearance that reflects the high standards of both BNI Bank and BNI Life.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for life insurance products within assigned BNI Bank outlets.
  • Conduct proactive prospecting, product presentations, and closing activities to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with internal stakeholders (branch managers, tellers, and other bank staff) to facilitate cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of BNI Life’s product portfolio, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate advice to customers.
  • Deliver engaging seminars, workshops, and one‑on‑one consultations for bank staff and potential policyholders.
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback to the regional sales manager on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with marketing and compliance teams to ensure that all promotional materials meet brand standards and legal guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional after‑sales service, assisting clients with policy inquiries, claims assistance, and policy modifications.
  • Participate in continuous training programs, industry seminars, and certification courses to stay current with market trends and product innovations.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with a D3 or S1 degree in any discipline are also encouraged to apply.
  • Age range: 20‑35 years.
  • At least 1‑2 years of proven experience in financial services marketing, preferably in insurance or bancassurance environments.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
  • Professional, well‑groomed appearance and a customer‑focused attitude.
  • Demonstrated interest in sales and a results‑driven mindset.
  • Not currently listed as an active member of the Association of Indonesian Insurance Companies (AAJI).
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM tools for tracking leads and sales activities.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
