Introduction
Furnimart, a leading provider of high‑quality furniture solutions in Makassar and the surrounding Gowa region, is expanding its logistics team. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join us as Driver and Helper – Tim Kirim & Rakit. This role is vital for ensuring that our customers receive their purchases promptly, assembled correctly, and with the professional service that defines our brand.
Responsibilities
- Deliver furniture orders to residential and commercial customers across Makassar, Gowa, and neighboring districts.
- Use Google Maps and other navigation tools to plan the most efficient routes, ensuring on‑time arrivals.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, and report any issues to the fleet manager.
- Unload, transport, and position furniture items safely within the customer’s premises.
- Assemble furniture on‑site, following technical diagrams and using hand tools, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Provide courteous, clear, and proactive communication with customers, answering questions about product features and care.
- Document delivery receipts, assemble completion reports, and update the dispatch system in real time.
- Collaborate with sales and after‑sales teams to resolve any service issues quickly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the vehicle and at the assembly site.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on product knowledge, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Age: 20‑35 years.
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Male.
- Driving License: Valid SIM A; SIM B1 is a strong advantage for drivers.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in delivery, logistics, or furniture assembly.
- Proficient in reading Google Maps and capable of basic vehicle maintenance.
- Strong communication skills, high integrity, and a customer‑service mindset.
- Disciplined, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience assembling furniture is preferred.
- Residence in Makassar, Gowa, or surrounding areas.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and customer needs.
