Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Guru Olahraga (Physical Education Teacher) to inspire and guide students from elementary to junior high school (SD – SMP). The ideal candidate will foster a love for physical activity, promote healthy lifestyles, and develop essential motor skills in a supportive, fun‑filled classroom environment. This full‑time position offers a structured work week from Monday to Friday, with hours from 06:30 to 16:00, allowing you to make a lasting impact on the next generation of athletes and active citizens.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive PJOK (Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan) lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school standards.
- Deliver engaging physical activities including gymnastics, traditional games, basic sports, and fitness drills suitable for ages 6‑15.
- Develop students’ motor skills, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and coordination through progressive training modules.
- Instill core values such as sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and fair play in every class.
- Maintain vigilant supervision to ensure student safety during all indoor and outdoor activities.
- Assess and evaluate each student’s physical development and skill acquisition, providing constructive feedback and progress reports.
- Manage, organize, and perform routine maintenance of sports equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate and accompany extracurricular programs, inter‑school competitions, and sports festivals.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance, health concerns, and upcoming events.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to integrate physical education with broader academic goals.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Male candidates (as specified) with a passion for working with children.
- No strict age limit; candidates of any age who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- Strong foundational knowledge of various sports disciplines and ability to teach them in an age‑appropriate manner.
