Responsibilities

- Take accurate food and beverage orders, answer menu‑related questions, and recommend specials or pairings to enhance the guest experience.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders, while monitoring the dining area for any additional guest needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring all service stations are well‑stocked.
- Handle payment transactions efficiently, process cash, credit, or mobile payments, and provide accurate receipts.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as mandated by local health regulations.
- Collaborate closely with fellow waitstaff, hosts, and management to ensure smooth shift operations and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
- Participate in regular training sessions, staff meetings, and menu tastings to stay current on new dishes, seasonal offerings, and service protocols.
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand image through a neat, professional appearance and courteous behavior at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 30 years old; no gender restrictions.
- Strong communication skills in Indonesian (and preferably basic English) to interact effectively with diverse guests.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team, supporting colleagues during busy periods.
- Neat, presentable appearance with a focus on personal hygiene and uniform compliance.
- Prior experience in food and beverage service is an advantage but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Core soft skills: active listening, problem‑solving, time management, and a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and etiquette, including proper handling of beverages and table settings.
