Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Petugas Pengendalian Kualitas (QC) to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and the supply‑chain team to monitor processes, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming material inspections to verify compliance with specifications and document any non‑conformities.
- Conduct in‑process and final product quality checks using calibrated measuring tools, visual examinations, and functional tests.
- Record inspection results in the company’s quality management system (QMS) and generate detailed reports for management review.
- Identify root causes of defects, propose corrective actions, and follow up to ensure effective resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Participate in internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and supporting auditors as required.
- Monitor key quality metrics (e.g., scrap rate, defect frequency, yield) and present trends to senior leadership.
- Provide training and coaching to shop‑floor staff on proper inspection techniques and quality awareness.
- Maintain a clean, organized inspection area and ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
- Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement projects such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Lean initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/S1 in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field; high school (SMA/SMK) graduates with relevant experience are also considered.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in quality control, inspection, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, or industry‑specific guidelines) and inspection processes.
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and basic testing equipment.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a systematic approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing production schedules.
