Ideal Mega Saudara, a leading distributor of electronic gadgets, automotive accessories, and leasing solutions in North Kalimantan, is seeking a dynamic Sales Promotor – Elektronik for its Tarakan office. Based at Jl. Yos Sudarso 48, Selumit Pantai, Kec. Tarakan Tengah, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and converting prospects into loyal customers across the vibrant electronics market of Tarakan.
Responsibilities
- Conduct product demonstrations and hands‑on trials for the latest electronic gadgets, ensuring customers understand key features and benefits.
- Engage with retail partners, wholesalers, and end‑users to build strong, lasting relationships and expand the distribution network.
- Identify and qualify sales leads through cold calling, social media outreach, and participation in local trade events.
- Maintain a daily activity log and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate contact information, meeting notes, and pipeline status.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets by applying persuasive negotiation techniques and value‑based selling strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing regular feedback to the product and marketing teams for strategic adjustments.
- Prepare and present sales performance reports, including sales volume, incentive calculations, and forecasted demand.
- Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure product availability, timely deliveries, and proper stock rotation.
- Assist in organizing promotional events, in‑store displays, and seasonal campaigns to boost product visibility.
- Mentor junior sales staff, sharing best practices and helping them develop essential sales skills.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 40 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in sales of electronics, gadgets, automotive products, or leasing services.
- Core Skills: Proficiency with communication tools (phone, email, messaging apps), customer‑management software (CRM), and basic sales analytics.
- Personal Attributes: Honest, communicative, loyal, self‑motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Language: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language skills are a plus.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning new product specifications and demonstrating technical features to non‑technical audiences.
