Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (Primary Health Practitioner) to join our busy community clinic. This role is pivotal in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered medical care to a diverse population. As a front‑line clinician, you will collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure that every patient receives timely diagnosis, effective treatment, and comprehensive preventive advice. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic testing for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications and recommending lifestyle modifications.
- Provide emergency care using Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) protocols when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date electronic health records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, vaccination schedules, and chronic disease management.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists, follow up on specialist reports, and ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in regular clinic meetings, case discussions, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
- Assist in community outreach programs, health screenings, and public health campaigns.
- Adhere to clinic policies, maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, and comply with infection‑control standards.
- Stay current with medical advancements through continuous professional development and attend mandatory training sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Professional Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
- Active Indonesian Medical License (STR) in good standing.
- Current ACLS or ATLS certification with a valid expiration date.
- Willingness to obtain a Practice Permit (SIP) before starting employment.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent is the baseline educational requirement.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to explain complex medical information in lay terms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Organizational proficiency with attention to detail in documentation and scheduling.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional on‑call duties.
- No minimum years of experience required; recent graduates with a strong academic record are encouraged to apply.
