Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting Staff – Financial Reporting & Compliance to join our dynamic finance team. This full‑time position is based in our Jakarta office and follows a standard Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (08:00 – 17:00). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local tax regulations, and supporting month‑end close activities.
Responsibilities
- Apply fundamental accounting principles to record daily financial transactions, including journal entries, cash receipts, and disbursements.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a timely basis, identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolutions with treasury personnel.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation in accordance with internal control policies.
- Monitor and analyze cash flow statements, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs and forecasting short‑term cash requirements.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit‑and‑loss reports, providing insightful commentary for senior management.
- Assist the accounting manager in the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and variance analysis.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and the Accurate accounting software to streamline reporting tasks.
- Support tax compliance by preparing PPh 21 and PPN filings, liaising with external tax consultants when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—procurement, sales, and operations—to verify the accuracy of invoicing, purchase orders, and expense allocations.
- Participate in internal audits, providing required documentation and implementing corrective actions to strengthen financial controls.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a manufacturing or services environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Accurate accounting system, and general ledger software.
- Tax Knowledge: Understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh 21, PPN) is a strong advantage.
- Language: Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a valuable plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
