We are seeking a dynamic Business Partner who will act as the front‑line ambassador for our financial inclusion programs. This role combines field sales, client relationship management, and loan underwriting support to help low‑income households access affordable financing.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential borrowers in the assigned area, presenting Amartha’s suite of micro‑loan products and encouraging enrollment.
- Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments, gathering data on income, expenses, and financial goals to determine loan suitability.
- Perform feasibility surveys and analyze loan applications against Amartha’s underwriting criteria, policies, and risk‑management procedures.
- Prepare detailed recommendation reports for the credit committee, highlighting borrower strengths, potential risks, and suggested loan terms.
- Facilitate weekly meetings with existing members, providing ongoing financial coaching, repayment tracking, and addressing any service‑related concerns.
- Maintain accurate field records in the company’s CRM system, ensuring timely updates on prospect status, loan processing stages, and post‑disbursement follow‑up.
- Collaborate with regional managers and other business partners to share market insights, best practices, and improve overall portfolio performance.
- Travel extensively across the region, using a personal two‑wheel vehicle, and reside in the company‑provided mess when necessary.
Requirements

- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are strongly preferred.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome, though any prior experience in sales, customer service, or micro‑finance is an advantage.
- Transportation: Own a reliable motorcycle (roda 2) for field visits.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to build trust with low‑income communities.
- Analytical Ability: Strong aptitude for evaluating financial data, conducting risk assessments, and preparing clear recommendation reports.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in the field, stay in company mess housing, and be flexible with weekly schedules.
- Team Orientation: Ability to collaborate with peers, regional managers, and credit committees to achieve collective goals.
