Responsibilities
- Conduct patient registration and gather accurate medical histories to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Prepare, dispense, and label medications according to established protocols, while maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and self‑medication (swamedikasi) practices to promote adherence and optimal health outcomes.
- Manage inventory of pharmaceutical supplies, monitor expiration dates, and coordinate restocking with suppliers to avoid shortages.
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records, ensuring documentation is up‑to‑date and complies with local health regulations.
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures by providing instruments, preparing sterile fields, and recording observations.
- Perform routine laboratory tests such as blood glucose, urine analysis, and basic point‑of‑care diagnostics under supervision.
- Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, including audit of medication errors, patient satisfaction surveys, and process optimization projects.
- Provide front‑desk support when needed, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling billing inquiries.
- Stay current with continuing education opportunities, industry updates, and changes to pharmaceutical regulations to maintain professional competence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Pharmacy (TVF) or equivalent SMK Pharmacy (ATK) certification.
- For D3 Pharmacy graduates, possession of a valid STRTTK (Pharmacy Practice License) and willingness to obtain a SIPTTK (Professional Practice Permit).
- At least 0‑1 year of relevant clinical or pharmacy assistant experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of medication dispensing, dosage calculations, and pharmacy law.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain medical information clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational ability, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, showing respect for physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Flexible schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
