Introduction
Shopee Xpress, the fast‑growing logistics arm of one of Southeast Asia’s leading e‑commerce platforms, is expanding its operations at the Keritang Hub in Riau. We are seeking energetic and reliable Motorbike/Car Couriers to join our dynamic delivery team. As a courier, you will be the face of Shopee Xpress, ensuring that millions of orders reach customers safely, on time, and with the quality service they expect from a market‑leading brand.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and transport parcels using a personal motorbike or car, adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Plan optimal delivery routes using GPS and mobile applications to maximize efficiency and meet the 08:00‑17:00 schedule.
- Perform pre‑delivery checks on each order, verifying item condition, address accuracy, and documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages at the hub, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
- Update delivery status in real‑time through the Shopee Xpress app, including proof of delivery via photo or signature capture.
- Report any delivery issues—such as missing items, damaged goods, or customer complaints—to the operations supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean and well‑maintained vehicle, performing routine checks on tire pressure, oil levels, and overall mechanical health.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, answering basic queries and representing the brand positively.
- Collaborate with fellow couriers and hub staff to meet daily volume targets and improve overall route efficiency.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on safety, customer service, and the use of company technology tools.
Requirements
- All education levels are accepted; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Age between 18 and 45 years.
- Open to all genders.
- No prior delivery experience required; fresh graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply.
- Own a motorbike or car in excellent working condition.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM) that can be upgraded to a commercial license (SIM B – Bisa Menyesuaikan) within a reasonable period.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Keritang area as required by the hub assignment.
- Own an Android smartphone with at least 3 GB RAM to run the Shopee Xpress delivery app.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 20 kg repeatedly throughout the shift.
