Responsibilities
- Design and deliver interactive lesson plans that integrate LEGO Education kits with core STEM curricula.
- Facilitate hands‑on workshops where students build, program, and troubleshoot robotic projects.
- Assess student progress through observation, quizzes, and project presentations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and teamwork.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to develop new teaching modules and share best practices.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to prepare lesson documentation, attendance records, and performance reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child’s achievements and areas for growth.
- Stay current with emerging trends in educational robotics, coding languages, and pedagogical techniques.
- Participate in occasional after‑school events, exhibitions, and community outreach programs to showcase student projects.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism during the scheduled work hours of Monday‑Saturday, 11:00 – 18:30.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a degree in IT or related field is highly preferred.
- Age: 30 years or younger; all genders are welcome.
- At least 1 year of teaching, tutoring, or related instructional experience.
- Strong affinity for working with children and the ability to engage them with enthusiasm.
- Basic proficiency in English (simple conversational level) to support bilingual instruction.
- Solid background in IT, programming concepts, or a genuine interest in learning to code.
- Non‑smoker, with a clean and professional appearance.
- Excellent verbal communication, including a clear, expressive speaking tone.
- Demonstrated work ethic, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and the capacity to meet instructional targets.
- Creative, imaginative, and capable of developing unique learning activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for lesson planning and reporting.
- Comfortable presenting in front of groups and leading classroom discussions.
- Good logical reasoning abilities essential for teaching programming fundamentals.
- Technical skills such as Deep Learning Programming, Desktop‑Based Programming, and educational analysis are a plus.
