Introduction
JNT Pekanbaru is seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our logistics team as Kurir Motor Sprinter (Shift 1). This full‑time position is based in Pekanbaru and operates on a Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule from 07:00 to 16:00. The role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a dynamic work environment, have a passion for timely deliveries, and possess a personal motorbike in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and transport parcels and packages using a personal motorbike, ensuring that every item reaches its destination safely and on schedule.
- Conduct a thorough pre‑delivery inspection of each order, verifying item counts, destination details, and any special handling instructions.
- Perform post‑delivery checks to confirm successful hand‑over, capture recipient signatures (if required), and note any discrepancies.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo from the motorbike, using proper lifting techniques to prevent damage or injury.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of routes taken, mileage covered, and delivery outcomes, and submit these reports to the operations supervisor.
- Communicate promptly with dispatch and customers via a smartphone application, reporting traffic delays, vehicle issues, or any unforeseen obstacles.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company guidelines while on the road, representing JNT’s brand with professionalism.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on customer service excellence, route optimization, and the handling of fragile or hazardous items.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age range: 18 – 50 years old.
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- Own a well‑maintained motorbike (preferably with a 150 cc engine or larger) and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must have an Android smartphone with at least 3 GB RAM to run the JNT delivery app.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the designated delivery area in Pekanbaru.
- Strong communication skills – clear speaking ability to interact with customers and team members.
- Basic numeracy for accurate documentation of parcels and cash‑on‑delivery transactions.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing route conditions.
