Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee‑based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work station, including regular sanitization of tools, countertops, and seating areas.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering product questions, and recommending drinks based on individual preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately manage the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, and other supplies; notify the manager of low stock and assist with restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure smooth service during peak hours, and step in to support other areas of the café when required.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up‑to‑date with new brewing techniques, seasonal menu items, and customer service best practices.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, waste disposal, and emergency procedures.
- Contribute ideas for menu enhancements, promotional events, and community outreach initiatives that can boost foot traffic and brand loyalty.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 25 years or younger; both male and female candidates are welcome.
- Previous experience as a barista is a plus, but not mandatory; we welcome candidates with a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
- Honesty, strong sense of loyalty, and a responsible attitude toward duties and workplace standards.
- Resident of Magetan or willing to relocate to the area.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and a passion for delivering high‑quality beverages.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage customers in both Indonesian and, preferably, basic English.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, including occasional holidays or special events.
