Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and diligent Maintenance Building & Utility Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting new product trials, ensuring the smooth operation of drying and curing processes, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. The successful candidate will work closely with production engineers, quality assurance staff, and external vendors to uphold our high standards of efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of new size trials within the drying area, preparing equipment and monitoring test parameters.
- Perform wiring and installation for thermocouple testing, ensuring accurate temperature measurement and data logging.
- Prepare all necessary tools, fixtures, and safety devices prior to each trial, adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain basic documentation for test setups, results, and equipment calibration records.
- Support daily operational activities of the TS (Thermal Stabilization) Curing line, including routine checks, minor adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, implementing 5S principles to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the production department to coordinate schedules, resource allocation, and any required downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on process bottlenecks and suggesting practical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) or equivalent (SMK/Sederajat).
- Age not exceeding 30 years.
- Male candidates only, as specified by the current operational requirements.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in building maintenance, utility support, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Basic proficiency in English to read technical manuals and communicate with external partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Demonstrated work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to take initiative.
- Knowledge of basic electrical wiring, thermocouple installation, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work the standard schedule of Monday‑Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime for critical trials.
