This full‑time position plays a crucial role in expanding Amartha’s financial inclusion mission by connecting eligible female micro‑entrepreneurs with tailored credit solutions, while ensuring smooth repayment processes and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential customers, primarily women‑owned micro‑businesses in village clusters, and invite them to join Amartha’s financing programs.
- Provide hands‑on economic counseling to household members, guiding them through credit options, budgeting, and sustainable business practices.
- Conduct field surveys and perform detailed feasibility analyses of loan applications, adhering strictly to the company’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present well‑structured recommendations to the Credit Committee, highlighting risk factors, repayment capacity, and social impact.
- Facilitate weekly group meetings with borrowers, monitor transaction activities, and act as the primary liaison between clients and the internal operations team.
- Track repayment schedules, proactively address delinquency issues, and coordinate with the collections unit to ensure timely and orderly installment payments.
- Maintain accurate records in the Amartha CRM system, generate periodic performance reports, and contribute insights for product improvement.
- Collaborate with local community leaders, NGOs, and partner agencies to promote financial literacy and strengthen Amartha’s presence in the region.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders, with a focus on serving female entrepreneurs.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, micro‑finance, community outreach, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic financial applications and loan‑processing software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with rural clientele.
- Demonstrated analytical ability to assess creditworthiness and conduct feasibility studies.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; additional local dialects are a plus.
