Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential new borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door visits, community events, and referrals to expand Amartha’s lending portfolio.
- Provide one‑on‑one economic coaching to household members, helping them develop basic financial literacy, budgeting skills, and sustainable business practices.
- Gather and verify applicant data, perform on‑site surveys, and assess creditworthiness in line with Amartha’s underwriting policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare detailed feasibility analyses and present findings to the underwriting team, ensuring transparent and data‑driven loan decisions.
- Manage the full loan cycle, from disbursement to regular collection, by conducting timely repayment visits, sending reminders, and negotiating repayment plans when necessary.
- Maintain accurate field records, update the internal CRM system, and generate weekly performance reports for management review.
- Collaborate with regional supervisors, other field staff, and the product development team to share market insights and suggest service improvements.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations while representing Amartha in the community.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
- Open to all genders; female candidates are given preference but men are also welcome.
- Own reliable transportation (motorcycle or car) to travel daily across the assigned field area.
- Strong personal integrity: honest, meticulous, disciplined, and resilient under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Analytical mindset for assessing loan applications and conducting feasibility studies.
- Team player attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance will be considered an advantage.
