Introduction
The Sales Officer – Channeling position is based in Madiun, Jawa Timur. This role is a key point of contact between the company’s distribution network and its customers, both existing and new. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, promoting the company’s product portfolio, securing orders, and ensuring a smooth credit‑application process. Working Monday through Saturday, the role offers a dynamic environment where sales expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive attitude are essential for driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Proactively present and sell the company’s products to existing customers and prospect new accounts across the assigned channel.
- Generate and secure orders from the distribution network, collecting initial data and verifying customer information.
- Prepare, review, and complete all required documentation for credit applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Monitor the progress of each credit application, providing timely updates and communicating approval or rejection decisions to dealers and end‑customers.
- Inform customers of payment schedules, due dates, and collection locations, and address any queries related to invoicing or financing.
- Maintain accurate sales records in the CRM system, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports for management.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to resolve issues that may affect order fulfillment or customer satisfaction.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, share market insights, and contribute ideas for improving sales strategies and channel performance.
- Travel within the assigned territory using a personal vehicle, adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a valid SIM A/C.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any field of study).
- Maximum age: 30 years (open to recent graduates).
- At least 1 year of experience in B2C sales, channel management, or a related field; experience in the same industry is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and close sales.
- High level of integrity, diligence, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Strong analytical mindset to assess credit applications and manage risk.
- Possession of a personal vehicle and a valid, active SIM A/C.
- Flexibility to work according to the local domicile and willingness to work the scheduled hours (08:00–16:00).
- Key competencies: sales management, customer relationship building, goal‑oriented mindset, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
