Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Asisten Pengelolaan Keramba Budidaya Ikan to join our aquaculture team. The successful candidate will support daily operations of floating net cages (keramba) and help ensure the production of high‑quality fish that meet market demand.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the health and growth of fish stocks within keramba, performing daily visual inspections and recording key performance metrics.
- Assist in feeding schedules, ensuring proper feed types, quantities, and timing to maximize feed conversion rates.
- Maintain water quality by checking temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, and salinity, and report any deviations to senior supervisors.
- Support routine maintenance of net cages, including cleaning, repairing tears, and reinforcing mooring lines.
- Collect and document data on fish mortality, disease outbreaks, and growth performance for continuous improvement analyses.
- Collaborate closely with the team to implement bio‑security protocols, preventing the introduction of pathogens.
- Participate in a mandatory two‑week training program covering aquaculture best practices, safety procedures, and emergency response.
- Assist in harvesting operations, handling fish with care to preserve product quality for market distribution.
- Contribute ideas for efficiency improvements, such as optimizing feed formulations or streamlining cage maintenance routines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only (as per operational requirements).
- Age: up to 0 years old (interpreted as recent graduates or entry‑level applicants).
- No prior experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Physical ability to swim and perform moderate‑to‑heavy manual labor.
- Strong teamwork orientation and a results‑focused mindset.
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain detailed records, and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Basic understanding of store management systems (Sistem Manajemen Toko) is a plus.
- Commitment to attend a two‑week intensive training program before commencing regular duties.
