Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Tenaga Penjualan Lapangan (Field Sales Representative) to join our commercial kitchen equipment team. The role is based at our Teluknga PIK 2 office and focuses on selling high‑quality professional kitchen solutions—including chillers, ovens, rice steamers, and cooktops—to restaurants, hotels, and catering companies across the region. The successful candidate will act as a trusted consultant, helping clients design efficient, safe, and cost‑effective kitchen spaces while consistently achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas for commercial kitchen equipment.
- Prospecting & Acquisition: Identify and qualify new B2B leads within the HORECA (Hotel‑Restaurant‑Café) sector, conduct cold calls, and nurture relationships with decision‑makers.
- Product Demonstrations & Technical Education: Perform on‑site product demos, explain technical specifications, and advise clients on the most suitable equipment based on kitchen layout, volume, and budget.
- Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare accurate quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules, and manage post‑sale discussions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Administrative Reporting: Maintain up‑to‑date sales pipelines, submit weekly activity reports, and analyze market trends to provide actionable insights to management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build long‑term partnerships, conduct regular follow‑ups, and act as the primary point of contact for after‑sales support and service coordination.
- Industry Collaboration: Attend trade shows, industry seminars, and networking events to stay current on emerging kitchen technologies and competitive offerings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, aged 45 years or younger.
- At least 3 years of proven sales experience in commercial kitchen equipment, HORECA machinery, or a closely related field.
- Strong technical understanding of commercial kitchen appliances, including temperature control, energy efficiency, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and client needs.
- Proficiency in sales CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
