Introduction
SPX Express, a leading logistics and supply‑chain solutions provider in Central Java, is seeking a dynamic Shift Lead for its operations in Kab. Demak. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from pick‑up to final delivery, coordinating a team of couriers, and maintaining high standards of service quality. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for courier pick‑up and delivery activities, aligning with customer demand and service level agreements.
- Supervise the end‑to‑end shipment process, including loading, transit, and proof of delivery, to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Define and allocate delivery zones, optimizing routes to reduce travel time, fuel consumption, and operational costs.
- Oversee inbound and outbound inventory movements, coordinating closely with the 3PL partner and internal warehouse staff.
- Monitor sorting and distribution operations, ensuring items are correctly classified, labeled, and dispatched.
- Conduct shift handovers, documenting key performance indicators, incidents, and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Lead a team of couriers and warehouse assistants, providing coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local transportation laws.
- Generate regular reports on shipment volumes, on‑time delivery rates, and any bottlenecks, presenting insights to senior management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries or issues during the shift.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field is a plus.
- 1–2 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and last‑mile delivery processes.
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities, with a track record of motivating staff to meet targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Proficient in using logistics software, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis tools.
- Ability to work flexible shift schedules, including weekends, to meet operational demands.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Kab. Demak, Jawa Tengah.
