We are seeking an enthusiastic Part‑Time Barista to join our vibrant coffee house in the heart of Yogyakarta. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in strict accordance with company SOPs, ensuring consistency of taste and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including espresso machines, grinders, and all related equipment, to uphold health and safety standards.
- Accurately take orders, operate the POS system, handle cash and card transactions, and issue receipts.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to guarantee smooth shift transitions, timely order fulfillment, and a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, product knowledge workshops, and feedback meetings led by the Shift Leader or Supervisor.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables, alerting management when re‑stocking is required.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, equipment shutdown, and securing the premises.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in the food‑and‑beverage (F&B) sector, preferably as a barista.
- Strong passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn new brewing techniques quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, communicative, and service‑oriented.
- Basic English proficiency is a plus for handling tourist customers.
- Demonstrated discipline, reliability, and a team‑player mindset.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with a schedule of 6 days per week (Monday‑Sunday) from 07:00 to 20:00.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
