We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant coffee shop located in the heart of Bandung. As a Barista, you will be the face of our brand, delivering high‑quality beverages and an exceptional guest experience from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and non‑coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, teas, and specialty smoothies, following standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, ensuring all equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers) is calibrated and serviced according to schedule.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service by recommending menu items, answering questions about coffee origins, brewing methods, and dietary preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, operate the POS system accurately, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Collaborate with teammates to restock supplies, rotate stock, and manage inventory levels to prevent waste.
- Assist in training new staff on beverage preparation, customer service standards, and safety protocols.
- Monitor and adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, allergen awareness, and emergency procedures.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal menu innovations, promotional events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Work efficiently under high‑volume periods while maintaining composure and delivering consistent product quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑32 years.
- Gender: Open to all (preference for male candidates as indicated, but we welcome all qualified applicants).
- Honest, responsible, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent personal hygiene; consistently clean and well‑presented.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Team‑player mindset with the ability to support colleagues during peak hours.
- Quick thinker, adaptable, and capable of working effectively under pressure.
- Prior barista experience or demonstrated skill in coffee preparation is a plus.
- Own reliable transportation (motorcycle or car) is considered an advantage for timely arrival.
- Willingness to work in Bandung and adhere to the scheduled hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
