Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new borrower prospects by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, attending local market events, and leveraging community networks to introduce Amartha’s capital‑access programs.
- Provide ongoing economic coaching to existing borrowers, helping them manage cash flow, improve financial literacy, and achieve sustainable business growth.
- Perform detailed field surveys and feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring each proposal complies with Amartha’s underwriting criteria, risk‑assessment protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on client eligibility, repayment capacity, and collateral availability, and present findings to the underwriting team for final approval.
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process, including timely reminders, on‑site visits for delinquent accounts, and negotiation of repayment plans while maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs, update the CRM system with client interactions, and share market intelligence with the regional manager to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with local partners, cooperatives, and NGOs to expand Amartha’s outreach and create joint initiatives that foster inclusive financial inclusion.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years as per company policy).
- Open to all genders; female candidates are strongly preferred.
- Own reliable motorized transport for daily field visits.
- Strong personal integrity: honest, meticulous, disciplined, and resilient under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills—ability to build trust with diverse households and explain financial concepts clearly.
- Basic analytical ability to evaluate creditworthiness and conduct feasibility studies.
- Willingness to work on‑site every day, Monday through Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
- No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community development, or micro‑finance is advantageous.
- Proficiency with digital tools for data entry and reporting is a plus.
