Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of banquet preparation, including menu planning, table setup, audio‑visual equipment, and staffing schedules.
- Supervise a team of banquet attendants, servers, and kitchen liaison staff, providing clear direction, on‑the‑spot training, and performance feedback.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during event briefings, ensuring their specifications are understood and executed to the highest standards.
- Monitor event timelines, adjust resources in real time, and resolve any issues quickly to maintain seamless service delivery.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations throughout the banquet area and service stations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on banquet performance, guest satisfaction scores, and resource utilization using Microsoft Office tools.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to promote banquet packages and suggest upselling opportunities that enhance revenue.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of linens, glassware, and catering equipment, and coordinate with vendors for timely replenishment.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives by gathering guest feedback, analyzing trends, and recommending process enhancements.
- Ensure that all guest interactions reflect the brand’s commitment to hospitality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA) or Vocational High School (SMK) equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar banquet or hospitality supervisory role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written, to interact with international guests and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated reliability, discipline, and a fast‑learning attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading diverse teams and handling guest inquiries with tact.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, with a standard shift from 08:00 to 17:00.
