Introduction
ADIRA, a leading micro‑finance institution in Indonesia, is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Teller to join the Cabang Barito Timur branch. This full‑time position plays a critical role in supporting the branch’s loan‑origination and repayment processes, ensuring that customers receive accurate, courteous, and timely service. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will be an integral part of a team dedicated to financial inclusion in the Barito Timur region.
Responsibilities
- Identify and screen prospective borrowers by conducting thorough loan searches, verifying documentation, and assessing creditworthiness in line with ADIRA’s lending policies.
- Process offline installment payments from customers, accurately handling cash, checks, and electronic transfers while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Record and reconcile customer data, ensuring that all loan details, repayment histories, and personal information are entered correctly into the core banking system.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on loan disbursements, collections, and outstanding balances for branch management.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and external regulations, including anti‑money‑laundering (AML) guidelines and data‑privacy standards.
- Provide high‑quality customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance on loan products and repayment options.
- Assist in cross‑selling complementary financial products such as savings accounts, insurance, and micro‑investment plans, contributing to the branch’s revenue targets.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new product offerings, system upgrades, and best practices in micro‑finance operations.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and loan officers to streamline workflow, improve turnaround times, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Maximum age: 29 years.
- Gender: Female (as specified by the branch’s operational needs).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a teller, customer service, or loan‑processing role within a banking or micro‑finance environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data sorting, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accuracy under high‑volume transaction conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a commitment to adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards.
